My name is Breige and I’m a Coffs Harbour local artist.

My goal is simple - to remind you that the world is a beautiful and hopeful place. It’s easy to get bogged down in the stress and strain that is the contemporary world. But we don’t need to be.

I am heavily inspired by the ocean meets bush landscapes that are the Coffs Coast. I also can’t get enough of New Zealand and everything magical, whimsical and fantastical.

My small business - Art by Breige - allows me to share with you what I create. From original paintings, custom commissions, murals, and thoughtfully crafted art gifts — all designed to spark curiosity and bring a little magic into everyday life. With a versatile approach and a love for creative challenges, I am able to paint just about anything to suit your vision.

Disordered, 2026

"Disordered" invites the viewer into a sensory explosion, where traditional still-life objects are fractured and reimagined. While the composition suggests a table scene, familiar forms are twisted and broken, flowing into one another with energetic, thick brushstrokes and layered textures. The vibrant, warm colors clash and harmonize simultaneously, creating a sense of "controlled chaos" that is both chaotic and welcoming. This piece is designed to be a centerpiece, offering a dynamic, passionate atmosphere to a room.

Crown of Day & Night, 2026

A joyful play of colour, movement and balance, Crown of Day & Night explores the meeting point between opposing forces - light and shadow, sun and moon, fire and growth. Rich red, burnished golds and deep green pulse through the surface, weaving together in dynamic exchange of energy and form.

Celestial motifs emerge and dissolve with the composition. A twisting black vine threads its way through the piece, separating and binding day and night.

Layers of acrylic paint creatively applied with various tools to make interesting textures, invite the viewer into a bright and slightly twisted environment. At its heart ‘Crown of Day & Night’ is an ode to contract, connections and quiet balance between all things.
